Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 2026

I’m committed to looking after your personal information and being clear about how I use it.

This notice explains what information I collect through my website and coaching work, why I need it and how I look after it.

What information I collect

I only collect information that I need to communicate with you and provide my services.

This may include your name, email address and information you choose to share when you contact me, enquire about coaching or work with me.

If you sign up to my email list, I will collect your email address so I can send you the emails you’ve asked to receive.

What I use it for

I may use your information to:

  • respond to enquiries
  • arrange and provide coaching
  • manage bookings and payments
  • communicate with you about your coaching
  • send emails or newsletters you’ve chosen to receive
  • keep appropriate business and financial records

I won’t use your information for purposes that aren’t connected to my work with you unless I have your permission or I’m required to do so by law.

How I use your information

UK data protection law requires me to have a lawful reason for using your personal information.

Depending on the circumstances, this will usually be because:

  • you have asked me to provide a service or are working with me
  • I have a legitimate business reason for using your information, such as responding to an enquiry or keeping appropriate records
  • you have given me permission to send you marketing emails

You can withdraw your permission for marketing emails at any time.

Other services I use

I use trusted third-party services to help me run my website and business.

These include services for website hosting, bookings, online video calls, email management and payments.

These services may process some of your personal information on my behalf.

I do not trade your personal information.

If you’d like to know which services I currently use, or how they process personal information, please contact me at info@ashleyjackman.com.

How long I keep your information

I keep your information only for as long as I reasonably need it.

This will depend on why I have it. For example, I may need to keep information relating to coaching or business transactions for an appropriate period after our work together has finished.

If you subscribe to my email list, I’ll keep your email address while you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.

When I no longer need your information, I’ll delete it or securely dispose of it.

Your information and your rights

You have rights over the personal information I hold about you.

These can include asking to see the information I have, asking me to correct or delete it, and objecting to certain ways I use it.

If you have a question about your information, or want to exercise your rights, contact me at info@ashleyjackman.com.

Cookies

My website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the website to work, while others may be used to understand how the website is used.

Where consent is required, I’ll ask for it.

Questions or concerns

If you have any concerns about how I use your information, please contact me first at info@ashleyjackman.com and I’ll do my best to resolve the issue.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent data protection regulator.
